Just wanted to send you a few pics of Teddy on his 22nd week birthday! As you can see, he is growing fast and cute as can be!!!! We call him Leo Jr. when he get on the couch cause he acts just like Leo! The only time he gets on the couch is when he has his last spurt of energy before he asks to be put on the bed so he can go to sleep. He still does not get on the bed all the way by himself het. Instead, he gets his front legs and head on the bed, looks around to see if you are going to lift him all the way and if you do not, or you are not there, he start crying! Yes,,,,,,,,he is a big, spoiled baby!!  ;) We think he is easily at 80 pounds now and he is going through the shy stage. He lays on you, leans on you and uses you for his chair by putting his big butt on you and sitting! What????

Hope you enjoy!
With much love

Hello all!!!!

Teddy is 21 weeks today and growing fast!! Took a few pics of him last night so you could see his growth and the face! He is drooling a little now, not too bad and is the tallest puppy now in the family! Sits on command and comes when I whistle now! Still does not like Joseph but will now stay on the porch instead of crawling under the house when Joe is out. I can now touch his back when walking with my finger tips and he stays next to me as I am doing this. Love, Loves ice cubes and thinks the ice tea is just for his ice cubes to rest until he needs one after the other. Still has not had people food except for apples and carrots but puts his big nose on my plate anyway! What? Has taken over for Rustie and sleeps on my feet when I am in the sewing room (every day) and makes sure he is with me even when I am in the bathroom! Starting to play the roll as my protector and even raised his body up from the bed when Paul kissed me good bye to head for work in the morning. He then realized it was dad and he was being silly so he gave Paul a big good morning smooch! Every day he finds a bigger stick and soon we are sure he will be bringing up logs from the property! I always thought that was to be Joe's job! HHHHMMMMM,,,,,,,,,,,,,He is nothing but a big love and rubs his head up and down my leg so I pay attention to him! He learned that from Rustie, just not going between my legs. HaHa! Speaking of my Rustie Puppy, my hunk a hunk a burnin love, his grave site has grown the most beautiful lush green thick grass! Rustie would have loved to lay in it and is happy we thought of it! His Pink Crepe Murtle is growing fast and still loaded with flowers! His agapanthas are doing well and I think they will take well enough to survive the winter (providing it does not snow again)! You will need to come and sit and visit with Rustie, he always loved to be center of attention!

Well, just a brief update san wanted to put a smile on your face, so enjoy and look forward to hearing from you very soon!

With all my love

RustiesGranny here to give you an update on TheodoreBear Leo Carver!

Teddy had his last set of shots including his rabies on Monday the 3rd and is now set to go visiting, play play in all bodies of water and shop at dog stores for new toys!! He is very healthy per Dr. Betsy and weighed in at 67 pounds! Will be taken off puppy food soon and go stricking on healthy active adult food. He is a "night" puppy and really gets crazy around 8:30pm with his spurts of energy and makes Paul just crack up as he jumps on the couch from behind and especially when we are filling dog beds with plastic. He jumps in the piles of plastic and rolls around in it growling and frolicking (must be in the jeans, bar people you know)!! He is grannie's big baby and when the girls start barking, he comes running to Paul or I with his ears pinned back and the whites of his eyes showing!!! Every once in awhile, he will bark when the girls are barking while he hides behind us! He is now leaning, and lays right at your feet (he learned that from Rustie) when he gets time to stop. Love, Loves the water and may be a ball boy. Still not sure of that one but we are hoping just so it will burn some energy! He is the biggest lover boy! I always know when he is near me cause he nudges my leg and rubs his face up and down on it to let me know he is there! Like you would not know he is there cause he is like Kiley! When they enter the room, YOU KNOW IT cause you can feel their energy! I always say that "Kiley blows into the room and when she leaves, she sucks the air out when she leaves"! Plus, Teddy has his new big boy charm on (Rustie was wearing it to break it in for the little guy), and you can hear it like a bell when he's entering any area, smiling from ear to ear and giggling the whole time! Since Daisy is the alpha now, Teddy challenges her on a constant basis! Have you ever heard Daisy Mae get upset? No a good thing but Teddy just laughs and goes back for more!! You got it, with his ears pinned back and the whites of his eyes showing! Gotta love the little man! We sure do!

Here are some pics I took yesterday on Teddy's 19 week birthday, hope you like and they put a smile on your face!

Love to you all!!

It has been a very long time since we visited but wanted to send you a few pics of TeddyBear Leo Carver ! He is doing fantastic and what a nut he is!!! I know it took us so very long to pick a puppy (they all would have been a good choice) but we are so happy with his crazy personality! He talks all the time and challenges our 13 year old St. Bernard mix, Rustie non a daily basis!! At 14 weeks he weighed in at 44 pounds and all at Gateway Animal Clinic just love seeing him! Violet our 5 year old black lab has taken the roll as his mama since we brought him home and Teddy now has one inch before he is as tall as her! Our granddaughter and TeddyBear are now best friends and can be seen together everywhere!!! What a joy he is and just what it took to help ease the pain of our loss of Leo!

From the bottom of our hearts, Thank you so much again for this special baby!! Not only is he loved, but so very spoiled!

Your friends forever!

Giddeon,

Here are a couple of pictures of Cleo at 5 months (a week or so ago).
She is a darling! She has the most gentle temperament I've ever seen.
She is excellent with my 2 yr old daughter, loves other people, is
great with other dogs -- a fine family pet overall.

I had one question I forgot to ask you -- how much do Allie and Hogan
weigh (recently)? The vets keep asking me how much the parents weigh (to figure out how much Cleo will weigh, and to see what % of her
final weight she has reached).

Keep in touch...

Cheers
Sujit

Gideon,

I know its been awhile, but here are some updated pictures of Porter (Rocky) now that he has just turned 9 months old! We have to do an accurate weigh-in but we guess him to be at around 115-120 lbs right now, and if he isn't 30" at the withers he is not far from it because I can reach down and pet his back without bending over at all. Porter has been an awesome dog with the most interesting personality! Not dominant but definitely pushy! Very curious and he has a bent for problem solving toys. We have him potty trained of course, but to ring a bell on our door to let us know when he has to go out, rather than just to hold it and wait for us. Right now, I am training him at a local schutshund training facility and he can sit, down, heel (and sit and down at halt from heeling) and is developing his stay command very well. Lets not forget that he can 'shake hands'.

Ok, so this one and a couple other emails will have updated pics of Porter for you, and the last one will have some pictures of the nail in question on Porters foot. Vicky and I look forward to hearing from you on this issue and we both hope that everything is going well yourself and the rest of your 'Pack'.

Hi

I just wanted to tell you how much we absolutely adore the newest addition to our family! We ended up changing his name to Daze because we felt it fit his laid back personality. He is truly an amazing little puppy. He is so smart for how young he is. Everyone we walk by stops to tell us what a beautiful little boy we have. He makes us smile and laugh all the time. He is constantly talking to us and following us around the house. I love it! Thank you so much for all your help with everything and answering all the questions that we had! You guys are amazing!

We (The Simpson Family) would like to thank-you so much for making it so easy to bring a new girl into our family! We really appreciated being able to meet you in Bend, OR last weekend and for you bringing all the girls (Trinity, Bonnie, Tinker Bell and most of all Savannah). She is truly a joy!! I've sent you a link from Shutterfly with a few photos from that weekend and Savannah at her new home. She is wonderful and we're blessed to have her in our lives!!! A little mischievous...but full of LOVE!!
We are going to stay with the name Savannah, after much debate!  Please let me know if you need any additional information in order to complete her registration.

Thanks again,
The Simpson Family

We have now purchased two Mastiffs from Mountain Valley Mastiffs. They were both very helpful with any questions we had and highly professional as breeders. We hope to keep a long friendship with Mountain Valley Mastiffs

Hi,

Trust all is well at your end. We are doing fine with Tinker...
actually we've started calling her Cleo (from Cleopatra). She is a
wonderful dog -- playful with my kid, but also gentle and peaceful.
She has had no accidents so far, sleeps well at night -- almost too
good a dog to be true! I will send you some pictures of Cleo as she
grows up. Cleo was taken to the vet recently, where she got updated on her shots. She loves going for walks to the park and has started getting used to cars, people and running kids.

There is one thing I'd like to ask you: How much would Cleo eat
everyday? With us it seems that she does not go beyond 4 cups on most days. It may be due to the new place, new people or the shots, but I felt that's a little less for a pup her age. I give her 2 cups in the morning and she often leaves 1 cup behind. A refill at noon is also not completely eaten... same thing in the evening. Seems like she gets 4 (maybe 5 at most) cups in a day. Is there something I can do to make her eat more? You may have noticed that her ribs do show a little. Is
that normal?

Anyway, we're very happy with Cleo and I hope she is too! Hope all is well with you guys! Take care,

Sujit
For a very long time my son and I have wanted a Mastiff.  After the death of our two Boxer's and lots of research, we decided to finally go for it.
We were lucky and happy to find a highly experienced and reputable breeder in our area.
We went to visit Mountain Valley Mastiffs and we are absolutely delighted with the wonderful Mastiff's that we saw there.  These beautiful dogs are wonderful, loving, and friendly to everyone. My son and I have spent hours playing with these magnificent animals and getting to know them and their breeders.
We have personally seen the love and care these animals have been given. This care and devotion by the family has produced animals of superior quality and socialization skills.
After many visits, getting to know the Mastiff's, their bloodlines and their breeder, we have purchased a beautiful male puppy we have named Jake.
For any one interested in owning one of these awesome 'Gentle Giants', we highly recommend that they consider Mountain Valley Mastiff's as their source for purchasing a happy, healthy, well adjusted and beautiful little puppy!
We will be bringing Jake home in just a couple of weeks now.
We feel very fortunate in finding Mountain Valley Mastiff's.  If you want a truly fine dog, go see Mountain Valley Mastiffs!

Thanks,
Brian Cox

Hogan Jr

Hi,

Sorry it took so long for me to respond. Hogan is now 9 weeks and he had his 2 set of shots today. He's a cutie, we love him so much. He weighs 20lbs. and he is now needing a little raise on his dog bowl. My other dog charlie who's a lab, love him so much and loves to play tug a war with hogan all the time. He is starting to learn how to be leash trained, and learning his first tricks. He poops so big I can't believe it, like a human size. We are so happy that we found you guys, and are very happy for all the information that you gave us on raising a mastiff. Thank you for taking time each week letting us know how he was doing as a pup, we really felt a part of the experience even though we were not able to be there. He is such a joy in our lives, and his mellow behavior is very cool. I will keep you updated every now and then. Talk to you later
